The platform for vocational orientation, training, entrepreneurship & networking!

The image shows the home page of the hub4africa.bayern website. It is a colourful and visually appealing design with illustrations of different people. The people are diverse in terms of skin colour, clothing and gender and appear modern and positive. They are depicted in different contexts representing education, profession and technology (e.g. with laptops and smartphones). In the background are symbols representing different areas such as work, education and sustainability. Above the illustrations is a navigation bar with the following categories: Courses, Career Orientation, Industries & Professions, Projects and Events. A large, green speech bubble callout emphasises that the courses are funded by the Bavarian state and offers a button with the text ‘Find your FREE course’. At the bottom of the image is a reference to the website's ‘eco mode’, which saves data and electricity. An icon with a leaf emphasises the focus on sustainability. The overall image conveys a positive and inviting impression and suggests the possibility of taking part in educational programmes and career opportunities free of charge. The visual design is clear and uncluttered so that the most important information is immediately recognisable.

In this unique project of the Bavarian state government, an innovative, free information and learning platform for Africa was created in cooperation with the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft and its African TVET network.

The centrepiece of hub4africa is the digital learning platform, which provides career guidance, vocational training, train-the-trainer and start-up courses free of charge. 
From Check2Job: After a skills and interest test (KoJACK) at the start of the learning process, all users benefit from the systematic development of a completely individualised learning journey.

In Africa, Bavaria is focusing on projects and cooperation in various fields of activity.
Bavarian Africa package - for sustainable development
In the year In 2019, the Bavarian state government approved the Bavarian Africa Package. It should help recognize Africa as a continent of opportunity and potential. To this end, Free State supports the sustainable development of each African country through these areas of action:
Economy and vocational training School education and science (especially strengthening research in the field of global health) Agriculture and the environment, climate change and resource scarcity Population management.

Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (Bavarian Business Education Center) (bbw gGmbH) is a non-profit organization within the German bbw group, a leading organization for professional education and qualifications in Germany and internationally. The Bavarian State Chancellery, in cooperation with the international division of the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw), provides a unique digital platform for information gathering, networking and vocational training.
