What does a Cleaner/ Housekeeper do?
As a cleaner/ housekeeper, you clean the interior and exterior of various buildings and/or of private households. For example, you clean public buildings such as hospitals, offices, gyms or swimming pools. In the case of private households, you do all kinds of cleaning work withing the homes of people. You can either be hired for helping out just once or you are hired to come in on a weekly basis. It all depends on the cusomer.
This profession offers various opportunities in the hygiene and environmental sectors. For example, you learn about alternative cleaning methods that have a lower environmental impact.
