What does a Waiter/ Waitress do?
As a waiter/ waitress, you look after the well-being of guests in catering establishments. You serve food and drinks, take orders and settle accounts. You know the food and drinks very well and can therefore make recommendations and advise guests. This is particularly important in the case of food intolerances. It is your job to accept praise as well as criticism.
